The focus on innovation is matched by a commitment to safety and sustainability. From empowering clients and the industry to make informed choices to driving the decision-making process for their own operations and procurement decisions. Plantforce have made a meaningful reduction in the environmental impact of their own operations, but also a wider influence on the impact the industry has on the environment.

To achieve innovation and sustainability, taking a collaborative approach is essential. From working closely with their supplier network, through to partnerships with the wider industry, such as on the Element 1 project. This ethos allows Plantforce to deliver a meaningful positive impact for the Element 1 Hydrogen project, for evaluating and advancing hydrogen technology within the infrastructure sector.

Position: Chief Operating Officer

“Element 1 is an exciting opportunity to explore a viable retrofit integration of a hydrogen fuel solution in construction equipment that could have a material impact in reducing the impact that our industry has on the environment.

I believe that this work is essential for the UK construction industry to meet its net zero obligations, and we see hydrogen as part of the solution for fuelling our sites in the future to build a sustainable tomorrow. With that, we are delighted to be working alongside other companies in our great industry to test this solution.”
